Sick little girl...
I've been meaning to update this blog as i have a ton of pictures to post, but at the moment Callie is sick. She's had a fever for the last two days and it seems like this morning it finally broke. I hope it stays down at 97. She still has her cold/cough but i'd rather that than the high fever. It was nice staying home to take care of her as she gets so cuddly. She also got to talk to both her grandma's on the phone.

Mommys new recipe toys
I went to the mall at lunch hour today and saw this at Cole's. I decided to buy it and of course i ended up baking one of the recipes tonight. A box full of cool recipes for only $12.99. I had a hard time choosing the Hershy one vs. the Cupcake one. I think i may end up buying the cupcake one but we'll see.

The Corn Maze
We took time on Monday to head out to a local pumpkin patch and corn maze. We did the same thing last year and had a good time. Harvest time is a good time of the year to get outside. It would have been a little bit better if the weather cooperated. This year we actually finished the corn maze - last year the girls gave up quickly. In the end it was Brandy that found the way.
I love the colors of the fall.
It was chilly. Jessica stole Callie's mittens to keep herself warm...
Here we are in the corn maze. They told us it would take about an hour. We were done in a little more than 20 minutes I think.
Callie got ahold of the camera and took a few shots..
Shane and Jessica had to get some fresh pumpkin pie, jam and pepperettes.
Callie was really hungry and she ate almost 2 whole pepperettes. Fortunately they were mild.
Brandy did a great job on knitting the scarf and hat and mittens for Callie and they helped to keep her warm. We had a good time...

Big Girl Bed!!!
Callie graduated to a big girl bed this weekend. Shane and Jessica were down and helped with the ceremony. On Saturday we took apart the old bed and setup the new one. We rearranged things around. It was fun for all and Callie was really excited.
The little green school desk was one we found out in the garbage on a Saturday morning. I threw it in the back of the truck then repainted it the lime green color. I had to make a new top for it. It is super cute and it fits well.
The first night went ok. Callie ended up all over the bed and did end up falling on the floor at some point. She didn't complain much because I didn't know until morning when I went to check on her.
We snapped one pic of her sleeping... There is a kid in there somewhere in that mess.
